From the University Centre for International Development of ULPGC (CUCID) and the Vice President for International and Institutional Relations of ULPGC, in collaboration with the Vice President of Culture and Sport through the Screening Room, we present Film+Forum as part of the Theme month "Gender Perspectives, from global to local" which will take place from the 5th to 31st March, as part of the i.CUCID Initiatives.

As part of the activities of this theme month which deals with women, and is organised by I-CUCID, the documentary Africa is a woman's name, provided by Casa África, will be screened. This documentary is subsidised by AECID and produced by Transparent Productions, a production company with headquarters in Barcelona, headed up by Cristina López-Palao, and has been written and directed by the producers Wanjiru Kinyanjui (Kenya), Bridget Pickering (South Africa) and Ingrid Sinclair (Zimbabwe).
